removing mirror caps 197

as in title what is the best way to remove them on a 197?

glass out then some clips inside and off they pop iirc.

how do i get the glass out i tryed giving it a good pull but they didnt come off

Very carefully. I did it with two fairly large screwdrivers, be careful or you'll break it!!!!. I start on the outside edge....
