Removing mirror covers

Basic thing to do but best way of getting them off without braking the clips on a ph1 172

Pry it off bit by bit is how I done it, didn't damage it either.

Starting from where? Lol is there a gap anywhere or is it a case of just get something in the gap

first remove the mirror glass carefully by praising it off with something flat. then you can unclip the mirror cap from the inside (self explaining). But don´t break the mirror glass

Went with the prying method starting with the hole on the bottom of the cover
