removing mk1 bumper

  MK2 PH2 & E46 330
i think it would be alot easier to remove my front bumper to fit the splitter i have. (drilling holes etc..)

anyway, is it fairly straight forward?

how do i do it and where do i start?

  Mk1 RT + F7p + 172 Brakes
it shouldnt be too difficult

i jus cant remember where all mounts and screws are lol

  Phase 1 172, boxster
im just bout to do the same thing, aparently you have to remove the bonnet and wheel arches too which means the wheels might have to come off too, hopefully it can be worked around lol

yeah i know like i said hopefully it can be worked around, with yours though you'll have to remove the grill and number plate to access the screws, and to make it worse you might even have to jack up the front and place it on axel stands lol

Remove the front bumper plate there a bolt hidden down there 10mm you need a deep soctet to get it. (theres should also be a washer)

Jack the car up and rmeove the arch liners

There one bolt or two bolts on the inside of either side parts of the bumper so remove them (again 10mm)

The under the front of the bumper there two 10mm bolts loosen them (no need to compeltly undo them)

Tahts it you then have to pull the bumper out on one side get someoe to help you and hold the other side of the bumper.

Don't forget to udno your fog light wiring though.
