Removing rear brake on a Clio 182

  Clio 182 w/Cup pack
Hello All,

I will endeavour to replace the rear brakes on my Clio 182 this weekend; is there anything in particular I should pay attention to? Will I require any spacial tools, e.g. a hub puller for example?

Cheers,

Basic socket set plus a 30mm socket and torque wrench that goes to 175nm.

Jack up on stands, wheel off, calipers off with two bolts, carrier off with two bolts, hub nut off disc off new disc on making sure the little washer/spacer is in the right way! Rebuild in reverse with hub nut at 175nm

  Trophy Turbo :)
carrier is a 18mm socket from memory may be 17mm.

Some times the discs will come off leaving the center bearing on the stub, this is easy enough to get off using a chisel and a hammer to ease it off.

The pads use a slide and clip design, so make sure you see how the clips all sit before removal as they can confuse you.

You will need a caliper rewind tool to push the piston back, grease the sliders as well with copper slip.

:)
