Removing recaros and fitting standard seats?

Hello.

I've removed the recaros (that were fitted at factory) and replaced them with standard seats.

I now have my serv and airbag lights on the dash.

Is this because of the lack of side airbags on the recaros?

What can I do to solve this? Swap airbag ecu's as well or could clip solve my issues?

Any help appreciated.

So have you wired in the airbags on the normal seats?

Ill anser as if you have before I log out.

The simple anser is you need to find someone with clip, you need to reconfigure the setting for the seats to show their is airbags in the seats.

I bought a 182 with factory recaros, but i've got a mint low mileage 2 owner 182 also so I've put the Recaros in that to improve sale-ability. (hopefully)

so yeah youve either got to find someone with clip who can change them for you, their only a 5 min job.

or you could possibly swap the airbag computers between the cars. not 100% if this is possible though as they might be coded to each car.

Yeah we're going to try airbag computers first. My Electrician has Clip so it's no great shakes.
