Removing reg plate

Hi all, (First time ere!)

im stuck on my plates - im gona remove them and put some chrome holders on instead of the grim black ones!
Although im unsure on how to remove the holder - i take its stuck on by adhesive pads - so do i gently take (pull) it off?

How hard is this to do as well

Welcome to CS...Heat them up with a hairdyer first to loosen the adhesive and pull

Yup as mentioned, heat it up a bit and pull off slowly.

Dont be to harsh with the heat,dont want to melt it now !

I had the same sticky pads and used a tea towel and shimmied it up and down to cut away the pad which does not harm the body in anyway. Just be patient though...
