Removing the front renault diamond badge??

hi


I would like to spray my front renault diamond, and will therefore want to remove it and i don't want to go heavy handed and rip it off and break it. i was just wondering, as there are lots of guys on here who take them off and spray them, if you could give me a guide as to how to do it...does it just pop off from the black suround or unscrew or what??

btw its a mark 2 ph2 aswell...incase this makes a diffrence

Just give it a good tug and it will come off, it won't break.
