removing vent/rain catcher

my cars getting a full respray soon, and iv started removing bits from my car that i want to clean up whilst its in, so i took 4 of the 5 bolts out of the vent, get to the last 1 and the whole lot is turning but i cant get at the back of it cos of the vent

any ideas how i can get it off, to remove the vent, iv used plus gas and tried using a spanner and eagle beakes but never worked?

Funny that. Every vent I can remember seeing including my own had one out of the five still attached? Probably a pig to get off, so try brute force? Sorry Ive not got the valver outside or Id go and figure it out. Well they definitely are supposed to come off, I chromed mine so I know they do.

i think from memory it is a std just keep turning it and it should come undone
