removing wax from plastic trim

Car  black/gold 182
waxed my car a few weeks ago but got some on the mirror trim its gone white and looks crappy any good products for removing it?? next time i will mask it first :o

Little bit of white spirit on a cloth, blot away, then use a good plastic polish/wax to put back the lustre, hth

Its a bit of a sod to get off once its on . Wd40's the best i've used so far .

peanut butter apparently.. honestly... sure someone will confirm this.... AG bumper car has cleaning agents in which are supposed to remove this.

AG bumper care doesn't clean or remove the wax , it masks it like most of the other trim care products do . The peanut butter will most likely do the same as it has oils in it .You might as well just use peanut or veg oil , lol .

The AG is slightly abrasive dude!

^^^ Sorry mate . It masks the white marks , doesn't remove it . Like when you wet something and it goes darker , after it wears off the white marks will return . Same with all the exterior trim products imo .

Best thing I've used so far for this is Meg's #22 I think it is and it doesn't streak after you've applied it either like some of them do.
