Removing 'welded on' sticker

  Mk II silver 172
Hi
I have the sticker of the garage that I bought my 172 from on the rear windscreen. It is not a simple pull off one window decal-it has some proper sticky stuff holding it on. I guess thats to discourage you from removing it. Anyway, Im really struggling to get it off. Anyone got any tips or ideas to make it easier as dont wanna damage the heated screen? Tried scraping, heatin g with hair dryer etc
Thanks for help
Paul

If its on the inside, you probably have already damaged the heating. But what i would do, it get a hair drier on it, and a razor blade. then remove the sticky with white spirit, or tar remover.

Don't take anything sharp anywhere near the heated screen, you'll only damage it. Get a proper heat gun onto it and you'll get it off with a lot of picking at it with your nails.

Vinegar on a sponge & go careful with a sharp blade.
Then clean the window well with glass cleaner :)
