Now my seat has been broken for some time now,
I have taken the car to renault on numerous occasions for a resolution.
Every time i have been told that i require new seat rails (£200) and fitting.
I took a deposit for the car last week so that i can go and buy another 172, but the guy wanted the seat fixed.
It was literally as simple as rebuilding the seat rails and took me 15 mins on my drive.
now the everyday renault owner is unlikely to do this and some older renault clio owners(the majority) are being raped for cash because renault hire sh*tty mechanics!
grrrrr, rant over.
if anyone needs help rebuilding a seat just pm me.
now i'm thinking my 172 money would be better off spent on a 106 gti.
