Renault do it again

Took my 172 back to the dealers today for a replacement washer bottle (god knows how the first one broke).

Booked car in and chap said Itll be a couple of hours due to the fact the front bumper has to be removed!!?!! to my reply, wot to get to the windscreen area!!

Well after a 1 hour wait the service chap comes over. Err sorry sir weve ordered the wrong one ( how many types of Mk2 172 are there??).

So theyve glued my original back together again,got to wait another week for a replacement

Also asked about the missing boot net, which some ppl seem to of got, waiting for the phone call about that 1.

Tbh it is only a washer bottle, its not like you have driveshafts through the bulkhead and pistons pretruding from the bonnet....

But when the garage has already had the bottle out, to find out it was cracked, surely they know which one to get!!

And when the car does 50 miles a day 5 days a week to work on country roads, its a problem!! we dont have dole bludgers washing windscreens at traffic lights round ere!!

both of my light washer jets fell out, took car to renault to have 2 new ones fitted.....only ordered 1! Also, i never got a boot net OR a cd changer

Ive been agained today, my four visit of october, lol, and they sort out the little niggles, I dont have to pay for a new gearknob, result and they have replace the wayward OS headlamp and I can now see the road ahead when there are no streetlights. Result!!!!!

Hopefully this time next year they will have sorted the 4k rattle once and for all, lol. (Though any luck I might be a happy S3 owner and the 172 and renault nightmare a distant memory)
