I bought a clio on renualt finance last september. It is sposed to run for three years, with the option of getting a new car after 2.

Does anyone know if it is possible to pay the whole car off before the 3 years are up?

I was wondering cos I wanna get a mini cooper, i would have prefered to get a 172 but I cant afford the insurance!

yeah, phone up RFS, get settlement figure, send them cheque, bobs your uncle

Do you know if they charge a premium for the settlement? Or is it just a case of paying the amount that you have left on the car?

amount left on the car, may get a few months interest charged as "penalty" for early settlement

Oh thats ok then, I thought I might have to pay the full 24 months interest!

it will still be expensive, finance companys a robbing bar stewards imo

i still owed 11.5k after 12 months on my astra but the settlement figure was 13k, damn thing is STILL for sale at 10k

NEVER using finance again...
