Renault Locking Nuts?

Are Renault locking nuts universal? Like could i use someone else nut key to get mine off? Long shot but ive lost mine

Theres only a few types of nuts you can oder a new one if you have your servuice book as it says the wheel nut locking code in there.

think the garage will have a master key or something...just buy other ones and stick them in.

Aye its in ur log book,

If they were universal there would be no point would ther as anyone with a renault could just nick ur wheels lol

their is no master key, and they are not universal

also, it can take weeks, sometimes months, for the locking wheel bolt keys to arrive, you would be better having them forcefully removed and putting a new set on

put on a normal socket that fits over them and they should come off and then replace with another set

I managed to loose my key a while back for mine mate, the locking nuts had to be drilled out as there was no other way of getting them off, the aa guy tried re grooving them with a bolt etc but he just couldnt get em off. Itll be easier and quicker just to get em drilled mate, saves messin about waiting for a new key

I ordered a new one from renault, cost about £20 and took two weeks. The code is in your owners/service manual.
