Renault warranty

Can anyone confirm what Renault Warranty covers before I buy a 200? Just took my 2 year old mini for a service which I thought had parts covered by warranty but apparently it has f**k all covered in terms of parts so my pocket is £170 lighter. Fuming is an understatement!
