Renault's CLIP Software - Needed for NW area

Apparently i need to recalibrate my steering on it to clear the SERV, TC & ABS lights.

NW Area preferably.

I've been after this 'CLIP' thing myself all weekend. I'm just down the road in Burscough and giving my local auto electrician a call tomorrow (he's really good), I'll see if he's got this CLIP thing and you could nip down to reset if he has?

What is a CLIP anyway? Is it just the Renault specific plug in device? Like the VAGCOM thing?

Yea its Renault's software.

I need my steering re-calibrating after replacing the squib as the SERV light is on, along with ABS and Traction.

I cancelled my booking mate cos we worked out that it's the MAP sensor that went on my car.

Who mentioned anything about it being free? I've been quoted £40 by a Renault breakers who said they have it but it's about an hour away so might just end up going to Renault as they said £60.

I thought it was worth a post to see if anyone was around the area to offer their services for slightly cheaper, hence the beer tokens comment :/

Steering Angle Sensor?

I've been told that the Serv, ABS & Traction control lights mean it needs recalibrating?

I've had them on before, once when I'd had the steering wheel and the angle sensor off. It wasn't correctly centred when I refitted it so I centred it and it was fine.

In the other instance it was the brake pedal switch which needed messing with.

Wouldnt even know where to start looking for the steering sensor unless it's built into the squib?

Was the same lights showing up for the brakes switch issue?
