got myself a set of 3 way Pioneer E-Motion speakers for £30 on ebay to turn on when ive got rear passengers in the car and was just wondering how to go about wiring them up because i know the clio uses a plug connector thing and im not sure how the new speakers connect as ive not got them yet.

any advice and links to anything i need to buy?

cheers

All working and sounds great!

If I was you I'd use connector blocks of through crimps, that way you could also keep the renault connector connected aswell should you or the next owner wish to take out the system...

The renault connector is a white plastic type that will come apart with a small flat bladed screwdriver. The original connectors will then just pull out. You can then keep the original connector with the speaker to put back in the car when you sell it.

With the connectors now exposed put some speaker cable into the connectors and tape them up with electrical tape so they wont come loose. on the other end crimp some spade connectors and connect to new speaker - job done. Did my fronts in approx 15 mins from start to finish.
