Reno stereo not working help

My GF's clio had a rather random non reno CD player fitted which I removed as the CD player didn't work and replaced it with a renault one I bought from a freind but whenI plugged it all in, it wont do anything.

Pressing any of the buttons on the front results in a beeping from the speakers. The HUD does not display the CODE and 0000 that should be expected.

Any ideas what maybe the problem?

No ideas but if you want another stereo i have a standard Renualt MTV one sitting here.

Okay well i can sell it for a £10 lol its just sitting here doing nothin, it all works just a few marks on it.

The radio works fine, tested it in my car. Think there's a problem with the connection from the HU to the HUD on the dash.

Can any one provide me with some pics of the connectors? The yellow one for the HUD had different connection to that of my MK3. One that was blank on one was filled on the other and vise versa
