Repairing buckled wheels

  Trophy #473
I have a couple of F1's that I have bent over the years, I have a slightly bent one on the car at the moment, only an issue over 80+ mph. Is there anyway of getting them straightened out? I know if you hammer alloy to much it becomes harder and more brittle and prone to cracking.Any companies that can repair them? Its just fustrating when doing 80+ mph and all my cd's in my glove box are rattling about!

you are better off taking it to a tyre fitter or a wheel refurb place as they are the only ones that can asses the damage and tell you if its repairable.

Ive googled a few places, it has a horizontal run out on the inner edge by about 3-4mm and a vertical run out of about 2mm. Repaires seem to be in the region of £90 per wheel!

90 per wheel isnt worth it. my mate had a wee buckle in one of his turini's and i think he got it repaired for a fiver. pm brembo mate and he will tell ya where he went to get it fixed

I have 2 oz F1s in my shed both buckled. You can buy perfect mint condition ones for £50 if you look around. There is a few places that will do them but its costly.
