Replacing inner track rods on a 172?

The steering on my clio isn't as 'tight' as I would like

There seems to be a lot of turning of the steering wheel before it actually turns.
Compared to my old 106gti which a twitch of the steering wheel would throw you across the road...

I've fitted new track rod ends - as they were absolutely shot - loads of movement in them
I've done new top mounts when I fitted my bilstein coilovers

I can't see much play in the lower ball joints - but I've just ordered powerflex bushes for the wishbones and ARB mounts so when they turn up I'll also fit new bottom ball joints

I read that the inner track rod arms are also replaceable and seem to be £30 on ebay
Are these difficult to replace as I figure I might as well do these as well - then get the whole geometry setup proffessionally

Anything else that I can do to sharpen steering response up?

about £45 each, plus its worth doing the track rods ends also (about £15 each)

not a hard job, i made the tool myself out of a 1/2inch extension bar welded to the end of a 32mm spanner

Ahh right ok cheers mate

The track rod ends are brand new

I think I'll replace all the bushes and the bottom ball joints and see what it's like then. I'll leave the inner rods as a last job if the rest fails to cure it :)
