Can someone show me where they have attached their amp ground wire?

I have grounded mine near rear lights but i doesn't reach that far.

Depends where your amp is. Mine is under the seat so I used a seat bolt. The seat belts brackets are always good earths.

the last car i grounded an amp in... i took the carpet out of the boot and there were some screw holes in the floor. i crimped a connector on the end of the ground wire with a hole in it big enough for a bolt. i got a nut, the bolt, and a star washer and bolted the cable into the boot floor. the star washer scrapes tiny bits of paint away when you tighten it and makes the connection with the metal of the car.
