Resetting Emissions Light After New Coils?

One of the ignition coils packed up, little while later the emissions light came on. Got a set of four coils for a bargain off eBay so changed them all. The thing now drives 10 times better than it ever used to, problem solved. However, the emissions light is still on, am i right in thinking someone with a fancy renault computer is the only one who can reset it? or will it reset automatically after so many clean starts? can i reset it myself?? i want it to still work in case i have a prob with my cat or something, so no unplugging lambda sensors n stuff!

try disconnecting the battery for a couple of hours (make sure you got ur radio code)

on the 1.4 it will go off on its own or get a renault garage to get the clip on it

Cheers guys, automatically stopped coming on this morning when I started her. I suppose it was about 10-15 starts since I changed the coils.
