Respray by me

So I have been a busy boy today with the 172 Replica.


Before:

As you can see... I have both Grills, Fog Surrounds, Splitter and my fuse box cover.

I took the time with the help of my mum (what a legend) to wash all the parts down in warm soapy water whilst she dried them
Then it was ready for a few coats of primer...

Gave it a good few hours to dry and went at it with a tin of matt black

I allowed everything to dry again and then put it all back onto the car

NEXT :

Spray Diamond, Rear 172 Bumper insert and Wing Mirror covers the same
Silver Vision needs putting on passenger side
Cup Racer (Si) tow eye
Fitted Reg Plate

Does need some spacers on the front to pull of the replica look.

Freshened up the front though, i'd be wary of the grills getting stone chipped though :S

Freshens it up nicely! Really need the vinyl inserts on the front bumper though.

when you say vinal inserts what do you mean?

Black inserts that go there. Usually a good indication that a bumper has been resprayed if they are missing.

Done mine last year and the lower grill and fog lights started to chip now, need to redo them at some point.
