Reviews on AP coilovers

Right im in need of some new coilovers, basically its for a fast road car with the possible odd track day chucked in for good measure,
What i wana know is has anyone fitted the AP kit? i know their made by KW but just wanting to know how they ride etc as my vmaxx
before my rear shocks went were very crashy (now even more so LOL) ive heard good things about the build quality but only thing im wanting to know is the ride and handling as i considered the Vmaxx worse than standard for handling!

The APs are quite comfy for a coilover setup. Really liked them for road use but on track i'd say they are a bit to soft. Quality coilovers for the money. And they would rip "facepalmland'd" 1*2s a new asshole in teh twisteez...

Proper nice soft coilovers for daily use but I think you'd be dissapointed with them on track.

So they arnt crashy? that is my main concern as to stiffen it up i can adjust the whiteline ARB, also ill fit solid top mounts with them

Nah, they aren't crashy. They are rebranded KW V1s. German quality

I've had both and V1's are noticably stiffer than the AP's.

Which V1s did you have as there is not only on type afaik.

You get V1/V2/V3

i do believe their is a v1 basic and then a slightly higher setup but still the V1 could be wrong tho

That's what i thought.

V1 basic is not Inox therefore isnt as resistant to rust as the V1 Inox.

There internals are the same.

You're right. APs are nearly the same coilover but with a slightly softer damping.
