Relic missed a trick with that, imo. Rather than having a handful of squads that became increasingly powerful - they should have used the base building and progression from their sibling game, Company of Heroes.
The core engine and game mechanics from CoH, married with the WH40K setting? That would have been a MUCH better game than the DoW series was. Which wasn't bad, but it could have been far superior.
D.
I picked up Dragonage:Origins complete edition on the Steam sale at the weekend and going through that again. First playthrough was on the 360 with minimal DLC but not on the PC with all the DLC im deffinately appreciating it more this time around
It is now my life's mission to find an emulator for the above games.
I downloaded it last night and created a character. I'll try and get on tonight if I get some time.
Dsoma - Zark
Hsoma - Braik
No, wasn't Cannon Fodder. It was World War 2 based (I think) and you had three men, each with their own skills. You'd have objectives like blow up a bridge or kill someone. It was rock hard too, but real good fun to play.
Anyone play total annihilation?
Not for a long time, loved that game, metal planets were carnage.
That krogoth challenge was mental!

Yeah that's the one! I'm definitely downloading that game in the morning haha. Maybe this time I'll last more than 5 seconds before I'm spotted.

The resolution tho, good god it's bad.
