My blowers on my ph2 172 have stopped working. They will only work on the lowest setting (can see the screen demisting ever so slightly even on full blast, and can feel a little bit of heat coming out, kinda like a rat is blowing through a ribena straw which is useless at this time of year). I got a chap who used to be a renault mechanic to have a look last night, he did some tests on the earths of the motor and the rheostat. The motor is fine as when he frigged around with it you could hear the heaters were on full blast. so he assumed it was the rheostat (as this varies the current the ultimately varies the power of the blowers....?) Any ideas of how much a new rheostat would be??
