Winter update:
Rebuilt box with atb, new clutch and fresh gearbox oil

Bought some pro race 1.2's and fitted them with some Dunlop direzas

I think the willy's look better on the lower profile road tyres too

I won't be in a rush to do another gearbox but pleased it's all done now

Also refreshed the hubs with new bearings and track rod ends and redid geo, 2 degs camber on the front now

Also purchased a modified scenic shiter that ash b has done, looking forward to fitting

Will be getting new pads also before feb trackday

Not at all, a couple of things really, after oulton have been all over the DIY so not had chance to touch the car.. also I've moved desk at work and I'm in view of my boss so less chance to get paid to cone on here [emoji23][emoji23]

First outing at bedford on the 28th had a brilliant day

Car is brilliant on new gearbox and hubs it's Defo wanting a decent set of coilovers but is really good to drive now [emoji106][emoji106]

Yes it was a lot louder at the time the camera only picks it up slightly, it sounded like a massive backfire [emoji23]

Luckily we carry spares, but it had a large hole in it, suspect that it was a repair from the previous owner as it was odly round shaped lol

Yep. 16mm. They also need to be machined down a bit, and the brackets machined. Pics in my thread if you're thinking about them bud.

If you're running the hub kit (Mark and James) then the spacers can drop to 10mm. I've got the hub kit going on end of April hopefully. Mines on cup wishbones aswell.

On the road they feel much better. Yet to test on track as I had to miss Bedford. I've only upgraded them because with the extra power I need better stopping power aswell.

They will go over Pro Race 1.2s with the right offset. @Ph1 Tom runs them with Pro Race 1.2s. I just like Willys wheels :smile:

You need 5mm spacers with the ET35 1.2s. I also ground a bit of material off the callipers for better clearance.

Will be used to commute to and from trackdays but that's it, which usually is with a car full of stuff so only steady.

Springs are not expensive so if it's a mistake I will change it out later [emoji106]

I've heard good things about the latest model, and also I've used Gaz before and know they have very good customer service.

It's our trackcar, it's insured taxed etc but only used for commutes and testing in the road [emoji106]
