Right...Engine stuff

Ok, i've heard so much about people doing engine transplants - just how much stuff has to be changed and how much work actualy has to be done?

For instance - i wanna turn my 1.4 auto mk1 clio - into an 1.8 valver sleeper - and i have no idea how much work wud actually need to be done.

Can anyone shed n e light or any advice. All advice is welcome except from anyone who decides to say "buy an rsi"

Buy a Haynes manual, full breakdown in there

Buy a 1.8 16V strip the wiringing loom in the dash and all the engine and fuel pump and swop over.
