Ripe for a engine conversion!

A common conversion for the Lada was the Fiat 2.0 Twin Cam engine back in the 80's - you could buy a wrote off Mirafiori and drop the 140bhp lump straight in. Lada bought the writes to build the Lada from Fiat using the casts for the body panels and mechanical parts

Theres a very strong resemblance

Sweet as, it would turn some heads!

asked this...

what would be needed to get the car road worthy? does the ignition turn? Have you attempted to use it recently?

and....

Good Question. probably new exhaust as its very rusty. battery as mentioned. carb needs cleaned out and adjusted as I messed around with settings I am not a mechanic nor an m.o.t inspector. The ignition does turn and will even catch very briefly but im afraid the setting must be well out. Remember the car has also stood for some time. By the way the mileage is actually 46000 miles not 56000 as advertised. I purchaced this lada from new and up till now have been reluctant to say farewell. has to be taken off the drive asap before i change my mind and hold on to it.

WHOOOF!!!

46k on a M plate - jeezo

Prime sleeper. Get laughed at on the lights, then floor it and show them who's boss.

lol £36.01, if I had more money atm I would have been so tempted to get that for a conversion lol!

wernt there a abarth or rallye one based on tht model!member buying it on a racing game on x-box,lol

£36 bargain!!!!!!!!!! would be worth getting it running and have a tart around wi it!

surely worth more than £36 when its running - that is a farce of a price
