Ripping out air con guide lol

Basically is there any steps to doing this / way of doing it ? is it a hard job or do i litterally just go about undoing any aircon bolt i can find . hopefully the guys that have removed it from their cars can give me some help ....:)

im gathering some info i.e removing air con as im seriously thinking of doing what i done to my old car and stripping it out with a set of buckets etc ...

strip the interior etc if you want that rally/race feel when driving the car , but leave the air con, the Ph1 is a quick motor anyway, you can always put the interior back when you plan on selling it and it will be easier to sell. Nothing beats air con on a hot day plus its a good de-mister

Hi mate. It's not as easy (or as cheap!) as it sounds - as I have recently found out... :dapprove:

Firstly you will need a Cup Alternator and Alternator Brackets. And a Cup Aux Belt. Then, you will find that your ph1 PAS Pump doesn't fit - so you will need to source a Cup PAS Pump & Pipes - or you can sack off the PAS system entirely (and replace the rack with a DCi manual rack). If you do this, your Cup Belt won't fit now, so you will need to order one the right length.

I have done it 'properly' and now have no air con & no PAS... Can't wait to go pick up the car to drive it and feel the difference!
