Rise of Nightmares - XBox Kinect

anybody played this, just wondered what peoples thought on it were, i like the look of it, but dont fancy shelling out £35 if its a bag of piss.

If it was responsive enough and reacted well to your movements, I'd probably consider getting a Kinect myself. Killing zombies/undead is never boring.

i like the kinnect never had a problem with slow responces etc, just wanna know what this game is like

Spiezels, kinect is awesomely better than the wii

As for rise of nightmares, I've not played it yet. I will get it at somepoint, think I'll probably wait for inevitable price drop first. It does look like it could be quite entertaining.

The vids/trailers online are quite amusing too.

I'm just a little concerned about the movement though. To walk forward you put one foot forward, to turn you twist your shoulders. I can image it feeling somewhat "unnatural", especially if all the while you're flailing your arms around trying to smash some skulls.

There is an option to put the movement "on-rails" but that will probably take alot away from the game.

As much as I like Kinect I do think it's not quite there yet for actual games. Works perfectly for all the dance/sports/exercise stuff as it's all on the spot movements.

The Kinnect is awesome. As is rise of nightmares, it's easy to play kinda awkward to move around it's like sometimes wen I want to go forwards it goes backwards. But the game is £17 in tesco the now. That's how much I payed for it at the weekend there.

I was about to order rise of nightmares but bought blackwater for kinect instead both look pretty good

just watched the tralier for blackwater, looks pretty decent, one way to like a goon by going behind couches n that tho, lol
