Road cars are sh1t sometimes

How can it be that,last weekend we stripped the race car completely,yesterday All the suspension taken off,then when I go to get my washer bottle out of my road car,I get stuck at the first hurdle.Cant get the fcuking wiper arm off
Just a little rant,thought it would take me 10min to do,1hr later and a cut finger I gave up.

I use a little puller tool for these as they can be very ghey at times. You need to talk to your cars Tony - when they dont help you threaten them with fire... works everytime

I just wrap a rag around it, cover it in WD or similar and pull like f**k.

Oh I did a lot of threatening I can assure you,scared myself.

I tried that,hence my very badly cut finger,I nearly smashed the car to bit's.It's just a pain as I've got no way of washing the screen atm.

I used a ball joint separator - if you have one handy I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get it off with it

If I had one of those, I wouldn't have a fkn great cut down the side of my finger.I'm no holding my hand like a gay p**n star.

Can bring it over about 6ish? Don't mind having a bash at it as well, I'm sure you've had enough!

Yup I cracked the missus windscreen getting hers off her 1.2 when the ice popped a ball joint off the mech inside, cost me £75

I now need a pump,mine makes all the right noises,but just dribbles like a junky on LSD,can't be anything else,so one is now on order.
See how I get on tomorrow with that.

Also there is a way of fixing the pump to work, will be a case of trimming down the small bung inside the motor. I did it, it worked. Saves you about £10 which is the price of the motor so if you can go and collect one might be worth saving the extra hassle and/or anymore damages to your extremenities!

Ah,glad you mentioned that,how the fcuk do you get your hand up there ffs?,but I have done it young Skywalker,but it's not clipped to the subframe.Job for another day with your skinny fingers.

Anyway,new washer motor fitted,works a treat,just a bugger getting the drivers side wiper lined up with the twin little arms,no violence this time,but I think I would rather give birth than work on road cars every day.
(£30)for a poxy motor.

Just to add,why do Renault fit 4 different steering racks to Ph1's?next time your under your car,try and find what one yours is,great fun(not).

Had a headlight bulb blow on me on the way back from Bedford last night.

Jesus, were these cars only meant to be worked on by ET,I now have cuts all over my hands from light bulb changing,whatever is it going to be next?

You think a Clio is bad? Try a Laguna II OSF bulb... PAS reservoir and pipework is about an inch from the rear of the light unit.
