  V6 255, 172's, JCW,

Hey Fred... hows the Vee.?

You think the report is a load of tosh then..? Would be great if they DID go through with it.! Did you ever drive one of the ph2 cup racers at Bedford.? Awsome !

for 24,500 it would probably be better to do it yourself and use the real cup - ie the 172 version.

But the new Cup Racers (the proper racing spec ones) based on the 197 are quite a bit quicker round the track than the old (1*2 based) ones. The rare factor would be cool as well - having the real thing rather than another modded Clio. Mind you, £24k...

Makes my car sound cheap in comparison, don't think any sensible person would go and buy one at full price.

Better waiting for the second hand ones.:approve:

They are even less practical than a vee though, doubt anyone would use one as a daily driver. where as vee's can be used as a daily driver even though most arn't

  ph1 172... Sold:(
This was suggested by T&RC about 12 mths ago, it's not a fourcourt special, it's a Clio Cup racecar, and basically if you can be bothered to get it sva'd then it would be road legal.

It would definately be worth the money if you can afford 24k on a pure toy, it is a proper race car, and alot quicker than a 172 cup, the nearest thing would be the 'old' clio cup car, and that doesn't really share much with a 172 cup.

On track these things are seriously quick.
