The hks is ace.. Especially with the laser engraving on the side.. Wasn't too loud but flamed occasionally and nice deep rumble, best sounding one I've heard imo

Yeah, a lot of the big builders will use NA cranks etc as they have seen less stress as an NA and they are exactly the same as the TT.. There is a slight difference in Pistons and head but only due to compression.. They are still bombproof

The 5 speed gearbox however will only last till around 450ish obviously depending on how it's treated.. Will be going 6spd at some stage

It drives really well although I've had to keep it off boost as there is only a base map on for now...

I have it back from the exhaust shop tomorrow and then it's on to mapping Friday hopefully

Mapping went reaaally well! Hit 1.1 bar of boost.. And wow! Flies!!! Turned it down to a safe .92 to preserve the W58.. Can't wait to put it on the rollers and see what it makes and get some final tweaking done

Cheers both.. They aren't really that dark I don't think they look different in different light they are anthricite-ish weird metallic colour Id actually asked for lighter but I was pleasantly suprised by this lol!

What power would you like to see?

Hopefully it's around 400 at the moment.. I'm going to get it on the rollers and set 400 low boost possibly less and 450 high boost

450 is about the limit on the 5 speed gearbox so don't want to push any more than that.. When I go 6 speed I can wind up the boost a bit more maybe aim 500ish as I want to keep it drivable

Tax is quite cheap.. Cheaper than the clio if I remember.. Insurance is a bit pricey but it's come down on my renewal quite a bit with everything declared etc with sky

Cheers all.. The difference is unreal.. Absolutely love the noise and it's bloody quick!!!!!!! Still getting used to it tbh but the power delivery is immense

I've took it apart again now to upgrade some bits..

New rad and oil return (old one was leaking slightly)

Old vs new.. Difference is 1.5cm thick vs 5cm thick

Old one was rather screwed haha
