rokkor coilovers fitte.. somethings not right tho :(

MASSIVE understeer :( cant understand if ive done something really wrong?. or something needs ajusting ...never done coilovers b4, but was genuinely under the impression lowering on coilovers wud provide lot more of a 'on rails feel', and to my shock today when i took it out, (baring in mind its only a baby 1.2) i did manage to nearly lose it a few times, steering has lost its feel, please somebody help! had the car on 60mm lowering spings and standard shocks b4 the coilies and was much much better.. help pleaseeeee :(

could somebody tell me the correct order of assembly for front shockers just to check its all on properly..

had heard really gud tuf about these..
looks- awesome
feel- quite scary tbh

if i buy the camber bolts will that fix the steering issue? anybody know? feels very light and can only be desciobed as quite scary when cornering at moderate speed, feels like uv hit ice and no real cornering feel to the car anymore..

if camber is out and wheel alignment is out, could this be the problem, i mean, obviously those things will make a differnce, but will they really make the feeling go, im not exagerating, its scary to drive even at low speed, jus dunt feel safe :( cant understand how camber would effect it to this degree :/ by all means coorrct me because id love peace of mind and to be told its all set up rong and that once corrected will be bak to its usual grippy self :)

If you are very low, the issue is not just camber and castor, there are a whole host of different factors that will have quite a large effect.

Is the damping adjustable on these, I've never heard of them?

they will have been fitted properly mate, mines felt crap like little response to steering and such like, soon as i fitted camber bolts they felt a million times better i promise you haha! i didnt need to get my tracking done once i fitted camber bolts mate. dont get yourself worried about it mate all will be fine when the bolts are fitted!

Mine don't feel too bad without camber bolts - theres a small amount of camber adjustment on the coilovers themselves. & I can certainly corner at higher speed than before, although they're not that confidence inspiring due to the 1.2 power steering :dead:

ive fitted these and had eibach sportlines on before which are good and the coilovers and much better. and i havent set them up and its on it arse.

did you swap over the top rubber mount on the front shocks?
Also dont know if you know but the front shocks bottom bolts well the top one out of those adjusts the camber, so lossen them both off and smack it in and hold it pushing towards the car on both sides and tighten up, thats what i had to do and i had mine pulled out and it did same as what yours is

the bolts will give you alot more adjustablility for sure, so you can play around with the set up more.
the only problem i found, as i've said, is that you may need spacers!
have a feel how close your wheel currently is to the strut, i can't fit my finger in there - and that's without camber bolts...
