Rokkor Coilovers quote

I've just been quoted £160 from them on ebay for the non-sport ones and delivered to the UK. They also mentioned about the 10% discount for CS members. Does this sound like a good price or not?

Where d'ya get your rockers from?

I'd need spacers but not 100% sure about camber bolts.

I got mine from ebay about 4-5 months ago now I think!
Camber bolts are easy to fit if you're concerned about that?

Hmm, the whole combination confuses me tbh.

If I go for just springs I think i'll be disappointed with not enough lows.

Coilovers are too expensive atm.

Rokkors would be my best option but have no idea how they work, what else i'd need etc...

It didn't take long for me to fit mine. About 2 hours with 2 of us working on it.
If you're not confident enough, get a garage to do them :)

putting them on an RS clio would be a huge downstep in the quality of your suspension setup tbh!

the oem set up will give much better handling!!

HOWEVER, if you own a non-sport and just want to go looowww, then theyre perfect!

theyre good FOR THE MONEY, but theyre still budget suspension parts!! why anyone would replace theyre stock 1*2 shocks with these is completely beyond me!

I wouldn't fit them.
I have a mechanic that does that for me ;)

I'll keep my eyes peeled, me needs lows!

Care to share? I'd love to know.

More on this.

Alternatives...

Not sure what you want to know. There are at least 6 -7 manufacturers selling the same coilover unit under different brands. They are cheaply made, use cheap components and the price reflects that perfectly. People want a bargain though so people buy them, justifying the poor ride on the fact they did not spend much on them in the first place. I would never fit a set to my car. They are renouned for going coilbound at really low ride heights as well. I've bought in a few for customers on request and was not impressed. Nor were a lot of them, but I did warn them.

I would tell anyone to save up their money and look at brands like AP coilovers who are owned by KW automotive.

They're not good, they're good for the money. Massive difference.
I dont think they are even good for the money. All they do is get a car low. Ride quality will suffer. Like I said before. People with inexpensive cars dont understand the benefit of fitting a decent brand, but even on a basic model car proper suspension will offer more control overall.

Meh, I got these for £120 off here, can't complain, I agree with them ring a step down from rs suspension but a big step up from non rs suspension, apparently they're the same as ktecs which are going for around £300. Either way I don't have a bad thing to say about them
