Roll cage - experience needed!

  BMW 320d Sport

Right next item - Im looking at a 6 point bolt-in cage, all the big manufacturers do them for the phase 1 Clio, OMP, Sparco, Safety Devices etc. But the question is what sort of a job is it to fit a 6 point cage. Assuming all the rear will be stripped out, what else needs to be moved? Are they truly bolt on or do you have to weld mounting plates in first?

i have a friend with a omp and its from what i saw there are sertain places in the car that have bolt holes with bolts in em and u just take out the bolts put it in and put the bolts back through the cage and in to the already there threads.

my m8s has his rear seats still in there and i think most of them are designed to keep the seats in, it might be worth contacting some 1 like carisma and see if they can make custom ones to take up the space u will have availible or u could always email paz from fastcar and ask him where he got his heap of sh*t ugly nasty looking rollcage.

thats my mates 205 with a sefety devices cage, he had to weld plates to the floor and then the cage bolts onto to them. The rear section shown here is removable so that you can use your rear seats day to say then just bolt this part on when you want the full cage in. Ill get some more pics off him and post them
