Rolling Road Power Figures

Does any one know how much power is lost going from the engine to the wheels on a 172?

The only figure i've had from a rolling road has been an "at the wheel" figure and i was wondering how much it would be at the fly wheel.

From FWD expect 15% loss from fly to wheel

Can someone explain the difference to me? have always wondered what the figures actually mean that people throw about!

BHP at the flywheel---power coming out of the engine. BHP at the Wheels-----power measured at the wheels of course but there are power losses as drive goes through the gearbox and differential. O n a 172 expect 150bhp at the wheels.
