ron levels

been using bp normal unleaded (95 ron)sice i got my 182 about a month ago only just noticed the sticker behind the fuel cap saying minimum or 97 ron, what difference does it mke will it adversly affect my performance od is it just the clening stuff they put in it also noticed tesco do a 99 ron fuel now is it worth a try ?

You'll get better MPG on 97/98 ron, the cars designed to use it, although it will run on crappy jungle juice its better to use the premium stuff.

ive seen a diffrence with mpg with the vpower i used council juice at first then noticed that wee sticker and changed my ways!! wont go back to normal stuff now

will i get beter performace for a higher ron or is t not noticable?

You will have to run it on a few tankfulls of the higher octane fuels such as V-power before you notice any effects.

I find better mpg returns, and the car idles better, as for better performance, not really.

I had a 205 1.4xs which had a twin choke carb. That thing used to fly on high octane fuels, felt much more willing.
