RR'd my valver

went to powerstation in tewkesbury today to RR the valver

Im happy with that. 143.4bhp!. so taking in to account any errors, id say it was on form!

think their drag loss calculations are a bit out.... 79bhp at the wheels.. dont think so.

I'd worked out that they were over-reading by about 7-7.5% today on average going on what some of the newer (so no age related drops in performance) standard cars were hitting. 200bhp in a standard old shape Octavia VRs for instance.

Still it made my 172 look good

the atw figure just seems shocking though... 43% loss???

Nice one! I went to Hill Power today and made 146.2! Was well chuffed!

Yeah the atw figures apparently at powerstation are always really low, something to do with being setup for giving better fly figures?? Obviously works...

when i had mine rr'd last year i got 117 atw..........never worked it out properly though...

what do ya reckon that is?

just got IC & exhaust (back box + no mid box + no cat).

lord knows what its past is though, danlp reckons it has a r19 box in it for greater 0-60! it has a lumpy idle too, which he thought could be cams. i think its just old

It was serviced yesterday at clarkies also

If it had cams I'd be expecting more than that, nice to see it's got a proper gearbox in there though

i like the way the power/torque delivery is nice and constant too

and the peak is 30rpm before the limiter!
