RS2 Inlet Ebay?

I havent driven it yet,but combined with the new pms exhaust it souns bonkers at idle and when revving,do it get 1 asap mate, this is the rs2 extra kit bigger runners but slam panel removed and aerocatches on th ebonnet.
Ah okay. Looking at the kit Russ is offering hopefully. I just hope I get some gains. My car ran 183 bhp at RS Tuning and I've heard of people only making 185 which would be an obvious disappointment :/

You'll have to get a video up mate, when you getting it back for a drive?

Iam sure it will make a lot more than that mate, sound slike you have a very lucky strong engine, these are supposed too sound really good on throttle.Soon as iam home from work tomz i will report honestly as iam on what it is like with no bs

Haha. I proper want one. What's involved costs including buying the kit, fitting and mapping? Can the car be driven on a standard ish map to get it to the mapper? Awesome mate. You got any figures on what yours ran? He commented on how strong the engine was actually. Does feel a quick one. Would be awesome to get 195 bhp or similar. Is the sound much louder than a ktec induction kit?

I think the sound is supposed to be much better,i would when you get one, take it to dan and have a day or two in Glastonbury.

That's a strong engine. My old flamer ran 179 went well

All i can say is it will crush a 225 esp trophy models, well in neutral anyway

Also worth mentioning Dan & Russ are hoping to offer the original RS2 for sale soon - chances are they will be easier to contact than the person/people behind the recently revived RS2 website. More details to come in the coming fortnight once everything has been sorted behind the scenes.
@Bear Head - I'd say it'll be the original rs2 that's going to be on offer buddy, just sold by 2 very good lads! And that's not a slur on James or Tom as when I spoke with James when he was selling them, he was extremely helpful.

Hi i havent got 1 and the car has been a pig to drive today, missing backfiring kangarooing etc not happy.

Dan mapped it ,its fooking kangarooing dropping to second gear round courners was barely driveable from cold to work this morning, hesitating now got triangle warning light on the one next to the squiggly coil light what a fooking week i have had

Have you been in touch with dan about it? My advice is keep calm as it'll only be something small causing your issue.

iam calm spent a lot of money and the car is worse than it was before

To update, it's sounding like a lambda sensor has failed and is playing around with adaptions, which explains why it's such a different car from what I drove yesterday. I've made arrangements to get the car back and sort the issues.

As for the light on the dash, this vehicle has had the clock set tampered with, and it looks like it has had a different set of dials fitted which explains the ESP light being illuminated on a cup with no ESP.

Weird, is probably the best way of describing it. In honesty, you won't get in it and go "omg this is fast" but they're very deceptive with how they deliver power. They accelerate at the same pace at 2000rpm as they do at 6500rpm. So feel very flat, but it's because they're so linear.

Yeh that's really not right!

Something I'm considering tbh. Sounds a pretty good modification. Sort of like a halfway house between low boost and bodies then?

No, more of a halfway house between OEM and bodies.
Ah, got you. Think it's the way I shall progress. So long as it's noticeable I'm happy. What's associated costs?

Are they fit and forget? Seen a lot of people having problems with bodies which I can't be bothered with. Are there any problems or strains it places on things that would make he RS2 unviable for reliability?

Generally yes. Mine for instance, fitted it, mapped it and that was it. Did the season opener track day 3 years ago, sat on cruise @ ~99mph all the way up there, did the day, and did exactly the same home. Never even lifted the Bonnet.

Same Here, fitting it was a bit of a t**t for a first timer, but it is never coming off!
as said really fit and forget, sounds a little bit better if fitted with a spun neck (bell shaped) filter.
Been using it for nearly 4 years now, still the only one in NL I believe.

Hi what filter are you using?

I was using a ITG, but that fell apart after 2 years or so ( how long are these supposed to last?)
Now using the original Pipercross, but will switch to a spun neck PX soon.
Got an ITG coming,i when i briefly drove the car could hardly hear the standard pipercross induction compared to say ktecs induction kit. There was no roar
