RSI Black bits

Anyone got a MK1 & managed to clean the black bits? The bits I mean are the tailgate spoiler & the bit at the bottom of the windscreen. Mines gone grey with age & Id like to smarten it up a bit. Come to think of it, was it originally black? as I havent had it from new. Ive tried that back to black spray stuff, but that just makes it a slightly darker grey!

some parts i believe r originally greyish. but otherwise keep going with the back to black. i did on mine and eventually came up like new!

hmm, I have some Turtle Wax Bumper/Dash shine.. and it cleans them up great.. I have black bits though.. Really did make them shine.

Autogleam bumper care is the best stuff, last ages looks like new

I always had good results with Autoglym bumper polish (I think its called) on my Clio. I had trouble with the same parts mentioned plus the black bonnet vent on my valver. But as I stated in another thread you have to be carefull with application on the rear spoiler as you may have smearing of your rear screen when it rains.
