s*d buying a diesel buy a 182 instead..

A 182 has advantages over a diesel the 100dci isnt far off a 182 price but a 182 should hold its price better. There notrealy similar cars expect prices arnt that far differetn new.

But saying unelss you do "intergalactic mileage to justify the diesel" it very unfair after about 30k a dci will save about £1.5k. Compairing a cup to a fully loaded diesle is unfiar its like saying a 182 is better than a 330 BMW as its £20k less or whatever.

Unusual choice of cars though why the fiat there on the list the Polo shoudl be lower in the list

Basically its just a useless bit of reporting/review!.......i hope they didnt get paid for that

Before you start shmall dont start another one of your stupid moaning replies about Diesels either!..

hahaha, just goes to show though that I was correct about diesels..petrol is better.....;)

Simon.

Sorry I cant help it, I just hate diesels....:D

i can understand the diesel part of doing intergallactic miles before you see a reasonable saving, some mag did a test and bought 2 cars i think focus 1 was a 1.6 petrol and the other a diesel, both the same spec trim level etc, the petrol cost 10k the diesel cost 12.5k, so they worked out you would need to do 56000 miles before you start saving money on the diesel because of the price premium. now diesels arent as cheap as they used to be are they!

I live 50 yards from the pub

I can walk to work in 10 mins, this is why i bought a pterol car....If i had to go to brum everyday from telford then i would have a focus tdci or something. Also you get better tax relief from a diesel so i would have one for that reason also

but surely the only reasons for TD is econmy.Faced with a similar price bracket to petrol cars the choice would be for economics only.I dont see any 182 kitted DCI clios or focus RS TDCI options
