I have a 1.9 Diesel on a 1998 S reg.
Something strange happens every now and again. What happens is, the rev counter stops working a couple of times a day, when this happens the engine rattles alot, like it's misfiring and sounds alot louder than normal.
This happens upon cold start up and warm start up. Weird eh? Even weirder, while it was running rough this morning, I managed to stall it, and when restarted, it was fine.
Also noticed that the glow plug light doesn't come on, either when cold or warm.
Any ideas/help?
