s**t brakes ?

I had to emergency stop earlier on tonight because of some tosser that didnt have a lead on his dog, basically my breaks are s**t.... The pads were replaced about 6 months ago along with a full service etc, i drove my brothers 206 last week and what a difference having 4 discs. So are the clio brakes just s**t in general (ph2 non sport) and is it worth upgrading them ?

P.s i didnt run over the dog

Clio brakes are usually s**t hot. In my old campus I used to get whiplash doing an emergency stop!!

My 172 brakes had become shite recently, had the fluid changed and they're LOADS better. Also discovered I have a knackered rear caliper so maybe worth getting someone you trust to check over it??

normally pretty good well they have been on all the clios i've owned. u can check for servo assistance by pumping the brake pedal with the engine stopped, then apply pressure to the pedal, when u start the engine u should feel the pedal go down. 2nd would be as already said change the brake fluid
