s**t, Car gave up last night!

right, well I was coming home last night from a mates house.

Was a nice night, so thought lets have a bit of fun.

Ne way I take it easy when im close to home as always, about 50 metres away from my house I get a loud thumping noise coming from the engine, and I lost all power...

I had no idea what it was, and as I was stuck in the middles of the road I tried to get her going just to get back to my house...

she started, but I couldnt move, just got a loud thumping, vibration from the engine area...

Im no mechanic, but im going to try and have a butchers ina moment.

Im hoping its something simple, but the noise it was making last night was just pain to my ears.

Any ideas what to look for???

look for a bloody great big dent in the side of your block by the sounds of it.

Bent conrods? Cambelt? Many things could cause the above

doesn't sound good mate. look for any leaks first just in case

Unless you happened to be listening to some D'n'B and accidently turned the ignition off with your knee, I think it's going to be a terminal problem. Sound similar to when my bro's 306 put a rod through the block.
