Clio 172 Cup, Volvo
So with Sachs shocks coming on the second hand market I've been thinking of a complete Trophy set up on my wife's 172 Cup. I understand that the rears are no problem and a straight swap but the fronts have a different spacing. So, is it a reasonable idea to slot the upper bolt hole on the front dampers to make them fit the 172 hub? or would it be better to get 182 Cup hubs and driveshafts(anything else I would need?)?Im a stickler for keeping it 'original' Renault as best I can, and think the 172 Cup with Trophy suspension would make a great road car.
