Sagging ktec stealth

Due to the weight of these things, and only 2 hangers/mounting points under the car, i found myself adjusting my exhaust weekly. I would jack it up so it was above the bumper, and alter the mounts & clamps, then 2 days later it would have dropped 6 inches and twisted.

So i drilled 2 small holes in the wheel well, attached some cable ties and its as solid as a rock, not visible and hardly moves.

Its clearly a design flaw, so i recommend it to anyone sick of it not sitting correctly.

yep will get some tomorrow - its basically just adding another hanger on the other side of the backbox.

Mine sags like a fucker too :(

Mid section is well low compared to the old yozza system

Mine makes some nasty noises on some bumps... Though my mounts ate buggered anyway. Will be interesting to see what you've done

Not exactly a great solution drilling holes in the boot floor to accomodate an exhaust is it? or is it just me that thinks this? :)

They don't fit well at all. Pretty heavy, using the same mounts with my yozza and it fits like a glove. The middle section drop was horrendous with the stealth.

Not a great idea really, hope the holes have been painted over or in a few months it'll be rust central :D

could alternatively try using a decent clamp (Mikalor type), which should provide alot more clamping force than the usual u-bolt type

Its a bit of a dirty fix i agree, but i'm not going to lose any sleep over "rust central" Blobs of vaseline over the holes should stop it from rusting.

Does look good that. Alhough I don't think mine will ever sit right. The PH1 bumper is just too short. Mines kind of a half stealth.
