Good road presence??- They blend into the background- the Only reason I noticed the one earlier was because of the picnic basket on the roof rack....

Yea but the 197 is about as quick as the 1.2!!! I'm only kidding!!!
Times have moved on and it does make the 182 look dated. Has that one been dropped or is that standard ride hight on a 197? I'd have one if I was'nt looking for something bigger as my next car.

It might not appeal to everyone but I cant say how anyone could say it looks gash. A Robin Relient looks gash.

Not sure if its been dropped, bumpers look similar height? Extactly, times change Its better looking than a tacky VXR corsa for instance.

Not all of us mate!! I cant comment on performance as i've never driven one but looks wise they definatly look fresh faced.

I saw a black 197 today only the third I've seen on the road.

It did look good.

However, unless Renault stick 225 bhp + into a a new renaultsport clio I won't be buying one myself.

I hated them at first...they are growing on me now, I see a couple and thought they looked really nice. I wouldn't get one as I don't think it's enough of a step up from the 182 and I prefer mine to drive, but I think once lowered they look quite nice.
