Saying goodbye to the 182

...for 4 days :( while the monkey arse f**kers at my local dealers repair pierres f**k ups when building the 182, no courtesy car....would i be cheeky to insist that the service manager inspects her when i hand her over and make him inspect every panel. wheel to show no damage so if when i get it back there is even the slightest mark the sh*te dipped carrot eating tw*ts have to fix it?

they should have to do an inspection of the car when it arrives, to check the existing damage, just ask to stay with them whilst they do the check

volvo do, not sure about renault though, should have thought they would

just tell them to contact renault UK for the courtesy car, if one is not available at the dealer RUK will authorise a hire car for you, you should not go without although most dealers do not tell you this as it is hassle

dont forget to make a mental note of your mileage and fuel guage when you take it in....4 days is a long time for would be test pilots.

i think you have to be fussy when getting them to check panels etc otherwise you dont have a leg to stand on if it gets damaged as they can write what they like on the form if you dont witness the check. When mine went in I stood next to the guy and before i signed the form i drew boxes around what he had written and then signed by the box to stop them adding anything since they didnt give me a copy or anything and wanted me to sign the form with loads of space for LIES!
